S. Priya Coffey has been appointed a managing partner of the Jackson Walker law firm’s Houston office.
She is a partner in the real estate practice, working on commercial real estate transactions for raw land, office buildings and retail centers, and the representation of landlords and tenants in commercial office building leases and retail leases.
Coffey is the third woman and the first woman of color to serve as an office managing partner at the firm, according to the company. She was recognized by the Texas Diversity Council on its “Top 50 Women Lawyers of Houston” list in 2017.
Coffey grew up in Beaumont and is the daughter of Dr. Aiyanadar Bharathi.
Bryan Case, owner and operator of Classic Auto group has been named the legislative chairman of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association.
The statewide trade association represents all Texas dealerships before the Legislature, Congress and regulatory agencies.
Case will lead the association’s committee in the 2020 and 2021 session
