(WKOW) — The Green Bay Packers are hosting a playoff game at Lambeau Field for the first time in years.
That means thousands of fans will be flocking to the city this weekend.
The Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau says people are calling for reservations at hotels and restaurants.
This is the first playoff game the Titletown District is hosting, so it expects to see lots of people on its tubing hill and ice rink.
“January playoffs adds about a 15 million dollar economic impact to our local economy and that’s just very exciting this time of year. We have conventions that are in town but nothing that compares to a football game,” said Brenda Krainik of the convention bureau.
The Packers have a week of activities planned.
