Saturday, Jan. 4

Thrift Shop Donation Day
10 a.m.-noon, Nantucket Cottage Hospital Thrift Shop, 17 India St. The thrift shop accepts donations in the off-season. For large donations, call (508) 228-1125.

Winter Walk
11 a.m. Squam Farm. RSVP for directions. Neil Foley and Allen Reinhard of the Nantucket Conservation Foundation lead this hour-long walk through Masquetuck. (508) 228-2884.

Nantucket Fencing Club
3 p.m. Nantucket Health Club, 10 Young’s Way. Free lessons, but participants must be willing to gear up with a mask, jacket, gloves and blade, roughly $130-$150. Over 21. Call (508) 228-5228 for more information.

Piano Showcase
3 p.m. Nantucket Cottage Hospital main lobby, 57 Prospect St. Isaiah Williams will perform on the hospital’s new Steinway Spirio piano, accompanied by vocalist Libby Veilleux and cellist Mollie Glazer. Free.
